Driving technique course 2

MTB and E-MTB riding technique course 2 (Advanced)

This course builds on the basic techniques of mountain biking from MTB Riding Technique Course 1. You will briefly repeat them, consolidate them and learn further techniques for riding in learn challenging terrain.

Course content:

After a short introductory and information session as well as an intensive bike and equipment check directly at our meeting point, we will then drive together to our practice area, briefly go over the basic techniques and learn something new.

- Improvement and expansion of movement sequences for more difficult terrain.

- Smooth riding on trails, banked curves and slightly bumpy terrain.

- Braking and braking performance in challenging terrain.

- Driving over and over larger obstacles such as steps and tree roots

- Asynchronous movement of the bike from the central and active position

- Curve techniques steeply uphill and downhill (tight curves up to hairpin bends)

- Driving through root passages

- Coping with steep descents

- More safety and fun on trails

Afterwards we go directly from the practice area to technical paths and trails where we put what we have learned into practice in a fun way.

At around 1.30 p.m. we will take a leisurely break at a house in the Palatinate Forest.

Afterwards, strengthened and refreshed, we continue on great and technically somewhat

more challenging paths and trails, past beautiful viewpoints and
